The format

Pilates, brought back to athleticism

Power Pilates at Momentum is strong, intentional, and performance-minded. Designed to build core strength, control, endurance, and body awareness — in a way that feels athletic and effective, not slow.

Props are part of the system. Balls, boxes, bands, and small weights add resistance and create variations on classical movements, so each class is fresh while staying rooted in the method.

What to expect

How it goes

01

Mat, props, breath

Set up your mat, gather your props, settle in. The opening four minutes are breath-led — the foundation of every Pilates session.

02

Activate the center

Core series first — controlled tempo, deliberate breath, full range. You will feel where you are tight before you feel strong.

03

Build the lines

Long levers, full lengthening, working through standing, side-lying, and prone series. Athletic without ever being rushed.

04

Mobility close-out

Five minutes of guided mobility and breathwork. Walk out longer than you walked in.

The outcome

Core strength that holds up off the mat

  • 01Functional core strength that protects your spine in everyday movement.
  • 02Improved posture and longer working ranges of motion.
  • 03Body awareness — the kind that improves your form in every other format.
  • 04Low-impact load that pairs naturally with cycling-heavy weeks.
Good to know

What you need to know

Do I need Pilates experience? No. All levels welcome. We give modifications and progressions throughout — meet your body where it is today.
What should I wear?Anything you can move in comfortably. Prioritize form-fitting, moisture-wicking activewear that stays put through heavy sweat and deep movements. We go barefoot or in grip socks on the mat.
How does it compare to reformer Pilates?Same principles, different equipment. We program with props instead of a reformer; the work is just as deliberate.
Can I do it the day after a Burn?Absolutely. Power Pilates is a great recovery-day option — low-impact, mobility-forward, energizing.
