The format

Heat, resistance, and a higher ceiling

Burn pushes intensity. The room runs warmer, the climbs run longer, and the resistance ranges sit one click heavier than Ride. Same musical structure, harder execution.

We recommend at least three Rides under your belt before your first Burn. If you have ridden before — at Momentum or anywhere else — you will find your footing fast.

Hydrate before you arrive

Burn runs warm. Drink water in the hour leading up to class; we have filtered water in the studio.

Warm-up at your pace

The first four minutes are extended in Burn — your body needs them. We dial heat gradually so you settle in.

Find the second wind

Burn has a recognizable middle — a sustained climb where the room and the music both peak. Stay with the cue.

Recover, properly

Five-minute cool-down with a longer stretch. Stay seated until your heart rate settles. Eucalyptus towels at the door.

Good to know

What you need to know

How warm does it get?Studio runs around 80–84°F during Burn. Significantly warmer than Ride; not hot-yoga temperature.
Is it harder than Ride?Yes — and that's the point. Same beat-driven format as Ride, but with more weight and slower, sustained sections that make you work differently. It's a sculpt class on a bike. Plan accordingly.
Can a beginner take it?We recommend at least three Rides first. If you are an experienced cyclist from anywhere, you will be fine.
Will I sweat?A lot. Bring a change of clothes. Shower facilities are at the studio.
